EAS Specialist III (Enterprise Application Support)

Location: Midland, Ontario, Canada

Salary: $67,000–$72,000 annually, plus eligibility for commission or an annual performance incentive plan.

What you will do

• Support the availability, performance, and accuracy of live customer-facing cloud and SaaS applications.
• Monitor production applications, diagnose incidents, analyze operational trends, and report anomalies.
• Prepare release plans and coordinate software updates across UAT and production environments.
• Manage operational activities, standard operating procedures, and team communications.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to peers and back up the department manager when required.
• Participate in scheduled on-call support for a 24/7 production environment, including overnight weekday and weekend shifts.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in technical analysis or a related area.
• Experience supporting software releases, handling software and network incidents, and resolving business-critical issues.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Server, MS SQL, SSRS, XML/HTTPS, and Microsoft .NET/client-server architecture.
• Knowledge of Linux administration and networks.
• Availability for a rotational schedule covering first, second, and third/overnight shifts, including weekdays and weekends.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Advanced experience managing or coaching peers and documenting production-environment operations.
• Programming experience.
