HVAC/Chiller Service Technician

Location: Carrollton, Texas, United States; field-based work at customer locations

Salary: $19.53–$58.59 per hour

What you will do

• Commission, troubleshoot, repair, and start up commercial HVAC and chiller systems.
• Diagnose and repair equipment using software, hand tools, blueprints, and engineering specifications.
• Coordinate with team leaders, project managers, customers, and internal and external partners on installations, repairs, facility setups, and retrofits.
• Serve as the direct customer contact and maintain customer satisfaction across assigned projects.
• Maintain safety standards and record the use, condition, and wear of company assets.
• Work overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight stays when business needs require.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Typically 5 or more years of commercial HVAC service experience, including chillers.
• EPA Certification.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and handheld computers such as smartphones or iPads.
• Valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months, with an acceptable driving record and no major or frequent violations or preventable collisions during the previous three years.
