Senior Allocator, Retail Planning

Location: Los Angeles HQ; onsite

Salary: $95,000–$115,000 per year

What you will do

• Own end-to-end allocation strategy across the retail fleet, covering initial distribution, replenishment, size balancing, and end-of-life inventory.
• Develop store-clustering, attribute, and size-curve frameworks to improve assortment accuracy, inventory productivity, and gross margin.
• Manage in-season inventory through replenishment, inter-store transfers, consolidations, markdown timing, and exit strategies.
• Lead inventory planning for new store openings and coordinate execution with Logistics, Retail Operations, and distribution center partners.
• Analyze sales, weeks of supply, sell-through, stock-to-sales ratios, and inventory movement, presenting recommendations to senior leadership.
• Build and publish allocation, best-seller, hindsight, and performance reports while improving allocation tools and processes.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of experience in retail allocation, replenishment, or merchandise planning; fashion or apparel experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, Retail Management, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience owning allocation strategy across a multi-door retail fleet, including store clustering, size curves, and replenishment programs.
• Strong understanding of retail math, including sell-through, weeks of supply, stock-to-sales ratios, IMU, and inventory productivity metrics.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and logical formulas, with experience handling complex data sets.
• Experience with Toolio, Looker, NetSuite, or similar planning and business intelligence tools; strong communication and presentation skills.
