Child and Adolescent Therapist - Diagnostic Evaluator (Neurodevelopmental Diagnostics)

Location: Centreville, Virginia, United States. Hybrid schedule with onsite work at the assigned clinic at least one day per week; remaining responsibilities may be completed remotely. A minimum of 12 hours per week must be scheduled after 4:00pm ET on weekdays or during weekends.

Salary: $85–$95 USD per hour

What you will do

• Conduct neurodevelopmental diagnostic evaluations, including autism spectrum evaluations using tools such as ADOS-2, ASRS, and CARS.
• Analyze assessment data and produce clear diagnostic conclusions, reports, progress notes, recommendations, and family feedback.
• Provide evidence-based psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and young adults.
• Complete biopsychosocial and diagnostic assessments and develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with psychiatric nurse practitioners, executive function coaches, speech therapists, families, caregivers, and outside providers.
• Manage diagnostic scheduling, clinical documentation, productivity reporting, meetings, training, and supervision.

Requirements

• Independent LCSW, LMFT, or LPC licensure in Virginia is required.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, and families.
• Strong clinical writing and documentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care model.
• Comfort managing complex schedules and balancing diagnostic and therapy responsibilities.
• Availability for at least one onsite clinic day per week and a minimum of 12 after-school hours per week is required.

Nice to have

• Experience conducting neurodevelopmental or autism diagnostic evaluations.
• Familiarity with standardized diagnostic tools such as ADOS-2, ASRS, or CARS.
• Experience in integrated or team-based care environments.
