Business Requirements Analyst III (Fintech)

Location: Remote, USA. This role cannot be filled in Alaska, California, Colorado, Connecticut, the District of Columbia, Hawaii, Illinois, Idaho, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Montana, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Dakota, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Utah, Virginia, Vermont, Washington, West Virginia, or Wyoming.

Salary: $85,000–$95,000 annually, plus eligibility for commission or an annual performance incentive plan.

What you will do

• Collect and assess customer requirements for networks, software applications, environments, and custom solutions.
• Facilitate discovery meetings with customers and internal resources and develop and review requirements documents.
• Lead or support statements of work to capture requirements and produce accurate project estimates.
• Create and update requirements documents covering solution configuration, modification, and deployment.
• Define documentation needs, estimate custom documentation work, and obtain client signoff when required.
• Facilitate transition meetings with implementation teams and support quality assurance to verify delivery against requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, or Technical Writing with 3 years of experience, or a high school diploma/GED with 7 years of experience working with financial or remittance check-processing systems.
• At least 2 years of experience leading discovery for financial technology projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to gather, analyze, and document requirements for complex, multi-solution financial services products.
• Experience facilitating client meetings, creating client-facing business documentation, and working as a liaison between business and IT groups.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
• Five years of experience leading discovery for complex financial services or product solutions.
• Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and reporting status to senior management.
• Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• CBAP certification.
