Sr. Consultant, Medical Affairs Strategy

Location: Remote, based in the United States, Canada, or the United Kingdom

What you will do

• Develop client relationships, understand strategic issues, prepare materials, and provide actionable solutions.
• Conduct research and analysis across therapeutic areas, regulatory landscapes, market dynamics, pricing, access barriers, and competitive positioning.
• Support strategies covering R&D, commercialization, market access, portfolio optimization, and medical affairs assets.
• Manage workstreams across approximately one to two projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts while contributing to client presentations, white papers, and industry reports.
• Design and implement processes, procedures, operating models, and organizational strategies; advise senior medical affairs leaders and coach junior colleagues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in management consulting, life sciences strategy, or a relevant field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, moderating, organization, and time-management skills.
• Understanding of the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global environment with cultural awareness.

Nice to have

• MBA, PhD, PharmD, or MD degree.
