Enterprise Portfolio Manager

Location: Hybrid, with two days per week in the office. Office bases: Livingston or Osterley, UK. Applicants must have the appropriate right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Maintain and coordinate the UK&I Enterprise Roadmap, aligning portfolio plans with strategic priorities.
• Consolidate information from change, technology, product and business teams to identify themes, risks and opportunities.
• Analyse portfolio plans, milestones, dependencies and capacity, coordinating sequencing and issue resolution across portfolios and external partners.
• Prepare clear narratives, presentations and recommendations for senior leaders and support quarterly planning, prioritisation and investment reviews.
• Build relationships across Change Portfolios, Technology, Product and Operations while constructively challenging assumptions and plans.
• Improve Enterprise Portfolio Management ways of working and support the adoption of AI for more efficient analysis and insight generation.

Requirements

• Strong portfolio management experience in programme or project management, business planning, transformation or consulting within a large or complex organisation.
• Experience working across multiple teams, workstreams or business areas and identifying dependencies, risks and connections.
• Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to interrogate detailed and incomplete data from multiple sources.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for Head of, Director or equivalent stakeholders.
• Experience influencing and constructively challenging senior stakeholders, facilitating governance forums, planning sessions or workshops.

Nice to have

• Degree, professional qualification or recognised project or portfolio management qualification.
• Enterprise or multi-portfolio planning, roadmap consolidation, investment planning, value assessment or return on investment experience.
• Experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, roadmap or portfolio management tools, or working with technology delivery teams.
• Experience in Agile, SAFe or hybrid delivery environments and regulated environments.
