Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Warsaw, Poland; freelance engagement; English required

What you will do

• Maintain and improve technical documentation, including drawings, procedures, bills of materials, routers, and manufacturing records.
• Support manufacturing process development and improvement across machining, finishing, forging, casting, cleaning, heat treating, bonding, and molding.
• Conduct feasibility studies, cost analyses, and capacity and capability assessments for manufacturing and capital equipment decisions.
• Execute process validation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and process performance.
• Develop engineering project plans and schedules, manage multiple assignments, and ensure timely completion.
• Collaborate with Quality, Operations, Engineering, and other cross-functional teams to resolve issues and provide technical guidance and training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and at least one year of experience in manufacturing engineering or a closely related environment.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical requirements.
• Experience with manufacturing process improvement, process development, or process validation in a production environment.
• Knowledge of machining, forging, casting, heat treating, bonding, molding, cleaning, and finishing processes.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including the use of quality and statistical tools.
• Project management, communication, teamwork, Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft Project proficiency.
