Senior Solution Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end technical relationship for one strategic global healthcare account, from discovery and qualification through proof of concept, technical close, and expansion.
• Build and deliver demonstrations, solution architectures, and executive presentations tied to clinical, operational, and research data priorities.
• Design and lead proof-of-concept engagements involving clinical interoperability, population health analytics, claims processing, real-world evidence, and AI/ML for diagnostics and care optimisation.
• Translate healthcare regulatory and technical requirements, including HIPAA, GDPR, and HL7/FHIR, into production-ready Snowflake solutions.
• Partner with the Account Executive and Snowflake leadership while coordinating Product, Professional Services, Support, and Engineering to remove blockers and accelerate adoption.
• Mentor junior Solution Engineers and raise the technical standard of the global accounts practice.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in pre-sales solution engineering, technical consulting, or data engineering in enterprise B2B technology.
• Significant experience with healthcare or life sciences customers and healthcare data use cases such as HL7/FHIR interoperability, claims analytics, population health, real-world evidence, and AI/ML for diagnostics or care optimisation.
• Hands-on expertise with cloud data platforms and the ability to architect and demonstrate enterprise-grade solutions live.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and healthcare data engineering tools such as dbt, Spark, or equivalent.
• Strong executive communication skills with the ability to engage CDOs, CTOs, CMIOs, and CIOs.
• Experience leading complex technical evaluations, winning competitive proofs of concept, and building strategic enterprise relationships.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Cortex AI, data sharing, Snowpark, and Native Apps.
• Familiarity with HL7, FHIR, OMOP, HIPAA, and GDPR.
• Experience with real-time clinical and operational data pipelines, data governance, de-identification, or privacy-preserving analytics.
• Experience in a dedicated named-account or strategic-account Solution Engineering role.
