Forward Deployed Engineer (Python, AI/ML, Generative AI) - UK based

What you will do

• Work directly with clients and stakeholders to understand business challenges, workflows, data, systems, and technical requirements.
• Translate ambiguous problems into practical AI and software solutions.
• Design, build, prototype, test, and deploy AI-powered applications, agents, copilots, and intelligent workflows.
• Integrate LLMs, Generative AI, APIs, enterprise systems, third-party platforms, and data sources.
• Develop supporting APIs, services, data pipelines, application infrastructure, and scalable technical architectures.
• Implement evaluation, monitoring, observability, and feedback mechanisms, then move validated prototypes into production.

Requirements

• Strong Python software engineering and production application development experience.
• Experience integrating AI/ML and Generative AI capabilities into applications and workflows.
• Experience with APIs, enterprise systems, third-party platforms, data sources, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with TypeScript and modern application or service development.
• Understanding of AI agents, tool calling, agentic workflows, or orchestration frameworks.
• Typically 5+ years of experience in software engineering, AI/ML engineering, or a related technical discipline, plus strong client communication and solution architecture skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with RAG, vector databases, embeddings, and semantic search.
• Consulting, systems integration, professional services, or large enterprise customer experience.
• Experience with AI agent frameworks, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, or Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience taking AI/ML prototypes into production or working in regulated environments.
