What you will do
- Lead small to medium manufacturing projects covering new product introduction, process improvements, capital equipment, and tooling.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, Assembly and Test, Product Management, and external suppliers.
- Develop project plans, maintain records and reporting, and manage milestones, risks, issues, and delivery commitments.
- Manage project costs and annual budgets of up to €1 million while maintaining financial control.
- Lead meetings, manage stakeholder expectations, negotiate requirements, and resolve issues with customers and suppliers.
- Coordinate product development activities to deliver solutions that meet quality, cost, and schedule requirements.
Requirements
- HNC, degree, or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience managing projects and delivering change in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating activities without direct authority.
- Experience managing project budgets, costs, schedules, risks, and delivery commitments.
- Strong stakeholder, customer, supplier, communication, negotiation, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chains, and the interaction between Engineering and Manufacturing.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of industrial turbomachinery.
- Recognized project management qualification or progress toward one.
