Production Manager - Planning PMO (Assembly)

Location: Onsite in Sparks, Nevada, United States. Monday–Friday day shift with minimal business travel. Valid authorization to work in the U.S. without restriction is required.

What you will do

• Lead Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and People performance for production planning and PMO activities across operations.
• Translate ERP plans into executable shop-floor production plans and maintain visibility, change control, and performance reporting.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, production, maintenance, engineering, and quality to align readiness, SOP updates, handovers, inventory, and WIP.
• Facilitate escalation of cross-functional constraints and drive issues and actions through closure.
• Track project milestones, dependencies, risks, and decisions, applying governance when schedules slip.
• Lead planners and PMO coordinators while maintaining a centralized issue/action repository with owners, due dates, and closure evidence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related technical field; relevant experience may substitute.
• 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Ability to manage issue/action systems, establish accountability, and facilitate cross-functional follow-up.
• Commitment to non-negotiable personal safety and quality standards, audit-ready documentation, and change tracking.
• Must have valid authorization to work in the U.S. without restriction.
• Ability to meet onsite physical requirements, including walking, standing, lifting, and required PPE use.

Nice to have

• Project management certification such as PMP or equivalent.
• Experience supporting high-volume operations with frequent plan changes and multi-process dependencies.
