Capital Project Manager (Life Sciences)

Location: Onsite near Baltimore, Maryland; expected onsite 4–5 days per week

Salary: $140,000–$180,000 annually

What you will do

• Manage facility and manufacturing-related capital projects across the full project life cycle.
• Develop and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, deliverables, and reporting.
• Coordinate design activities and provide construction support through commissioning, turnover, and closeout.
• Communicate with stakeholders and coordinate engineering firms, contractors, vendors, operations, maintenance, quality, and site leadership.
• Support capital project execution at a major life sciences manufacturing site.

Requirements

• Experience managing capital projects in pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical manufacturing, food and beverage, specialty chemical, or other regulated or industrial manufacturing environments.
• Strong facility-side project experience, including coordination with engineering firms, contractors, vendors, operations, maintenance, quality, and site leadership.
• Ability to work onsite 4–5 days per week near Baltimore, Maryland.

Nice to have

• Experience with GMP facilities and cleanrooms.
• Experience with utilities, small molecule manufacturing, downstream processing, chromatography, spray drying, or large-pharma project governance.
