Senior Fullstack Developer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom; hybrid arrangement with a minimum of three onsite days per week.

What you will do

• Develop the API and UI backend for the Controller using Python, Django, and SQL.
• Build and maintain background worker services and task queues with Celery.
• Develop frontend interfaces and data visualisations using React, TypeScript, and Vue.js.
• Deploy and scale services across Amazon AWS, including on-premises enterprise and cloud environments.
• Integrate Controller functionality with hirify.global Cloud Platform Services, hirify.global products, and the Workforce Experience Platform.
• Write unit and automated installation tests and expand CI automation.

Requirements

• Proven professional experience with Python.
• Understanding of React, Django, TypeScript, and SQL.
• Experience designing scalable web services.
• Ability to debug and optimize complex database queries.
• Ability to work across technologies and solve complex technical problems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience designing and deploying cloud services at scale with Amazon AWS.
• Experience with task queue systems such as Celery.
• Knowledge of web security issues and secure-by-design development.
• Experience with Go, PostgreSQL, or AWS Lambda.
