Software Engineering Professional (Python/Kubernetes)

What you will do

• Resolve complex and strategic software engineering issues by developing bespoke solutions for large-scale systems.
• Write, test, maintain, and independently improve software code.
• Contribute to the technical roadmap and align engineering work with business and partner requirements.
• Support critical platforms serving broadband, Wi-Fi, and hybrid products and services.
• Promote automation, reliability, innovation, and agile delivery practices within the engineering team.
• Share software engineering knowledge and contribute to stakeholder relationships and team wellbeing.

Requirements

• Experience in software solution development and full-stack software development.
• Experience with Ruby, Python, or Java.
• Strong understanding of Linux, security, virtualization, and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with data monitoring for systems.
• Experience building, maintaining, and orchestrating Docker containers using Docker Compose and Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS or GCP.

Nice to have

• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and automated pipelines.
• Experience with cloud technologies and cloud providers.
• Knowledge of cloud network services including VPCs, security groups, ACLs, subnets, topology, and VPNs.
• Experience working with virtual cloud instances, including VMs, EC2, and image-to-instance workflows.
