Fullstack Software Engineer (Product)

Location: In-person role based in the London or San Francisco office; some work-from-home arrangements are available.

Salary: San Francisco $222,000–$290,000; London £149,000–£195,000 per year.

What you will do

• Design, build, and ship Watcher features across agent hooks, CLI tooling, ingestion and grading pipelines, monitoring interfaces, and analytical dashboards.
• Own product features end to end, from customer conversations and technical decisions through production deployment and iteration.
• Build integrations for coding agents, LLM gateways, enterprise security systems, and SIEM workflows.
• Design and operate real-time backend systems handling large volumes of agent logs, including data models, storage, observability, and reliability controls.
• Develop tenant isolation, encryption, access controls, and cloud-hosted, on-premises, and local deployment models.
• Turn monitoring research into production features and debug customer deployments to inform the product roadmap.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience building and operating production software used by real users.
• Strong backend skills in APIs, data pipelines, databases, and cloud infrastructure, plus productive frontend development experience.
• Ability to work primarily with Python and TypeScript and own features across the full stack.
• High agency, product sense, fast decision-making, and accountability in an ambiguous startup environment.
• Heavy use of Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar tools, or experience building agents and agent tooling.
• Ability to work in person from the London or San Francisco office; visa sponsorship is available in the UK and US, subject to the role and candidate.

Nice to have

• Experience with developer tools, monitoring and observability systems, or security products.
• Real-time or large-scale data processing, streaming pipelines, message queues, or high-throughput logging systems.
• Enterprise or on-premises deployment experience.
• Experience building LLM-powered applications, evaluation pipelines, or LLM-as-judge systems.
• Early-stage startup experience.
