What you will do

• Enter and maintain account information from invoices, settlements, titles, and other sources.
• Verify documents and prepare or mail correspondence to customers, attorneys, trustees, vendors, and other third parties.
• Process debt validations, disputed-loan response letters, reaffirmation agreements, proof of claims, and claim forms.
• Prepare attorney referrals, assign case matter numbers, and track claims and related statuses.
• Create payment coupons and general-ledger tickets, allocate received funds, and arrange trustee overpayments.
• Gather and provide account information to external vendors, perform skip tracing, and follow compliance and operational risk controls.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of related experience.
• Proficiency with PC-based word processing, spreadsheet, and email software.
• Ability to work accurately with account data, documentation, correspondence, and payment records.
• The role involves no customer contact or direct attorney contact; communication is primarily by email with attorneys and external vendors.

Nice to have

• Associate’s degree.
