Director of Clinical Operations

Location: Hybrid in New York City, with at least three days per week in the NYC office

Salary: $185,250–$195,000 annually, plus equity and benefits

What you will do

• Own provider network operations end to end, from forecasting and hiring through credentialing, onboarding, training, performance management, and offboarding.
• Design scalable operational infrastructure for growth from hundreds to thousands of providers.
• Lead multi-state provider credentialing, licensing, cross-licensing, and APRN collaboration agreement programs.
• Build systems for provider performance data, availability, capacity, utilization, dashboards, and operational accountability.
• Improve knowledge management and automate manual, error-prone workflows using AI and other tooling.
• Lead provider compensation and margin performance strategy while partnering with Growth, Recruiting, Payer Operations, Clinical Management, and Product.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of experience in high-growth operations.
• Experience building and improving operational systems from scratch in fast-moving, resource-constrained environments.
• Experience with margin, cost, or P&L ownership.
• Strong analytical skills, including data analysis, trend identification, and operational decision-making.
• Excellent cross-functional communication and the ability to influence without direct authority.
• Strong interest in automation, tooling, and AI enablement.

Nice to have

• Experience with provider network management, credentialing, or multi-state licensing.
• Experience in telehealth or multi-state provider network operations.
• Familiarity with credentialing systems, EHR, LMS, workflow automation, and practice management tools.
• Experience with women’s health, virtual care, or collaborative care models.
