Senior Associate, New Verticals - Retail Shopping Experience Strategy & Operations (Retail)

Location: Hybrid, with a few days per month in person in New York, NY; San Francisco, CA; Seattle, WA; Los Angeles, CA; Washington, DC; Chicago, IL; or Tempe, AZ.

Salary: $87,000–$128,000 USD base salary annually, plus potential equity grants.

What you will do

• Own retail attribute definition, catalog enrichment, and merchant feed mapping to achieve data coverage targets.
• Define and scale data quality standards, including style guides and quality rubrics.
• Track catalog and product detail page quality, identifying gaps before they reach customers.
• Manage daily enrichment vendor operations and partner with the Catalog team on attributes and taxonomy.
• Build metric dashboards, analyze programs with SQL, Excel, and AI tools, and run measurable operational experiments.
• Collaborate with growth, quality, design, marketing, partnerships, and product teams to scale the Retail business.

Requirements

• 2–4+ years of experience in analytical, cross-functional environments such as technology, operations, strategy, consulting, banking, or startups.
• Experience using SQL, Excel, and AI tools for analysis and workflow automation.
• Ability to develop strategies, build models and dashboards, operate at both strategic and detailed levels, and work through ambiguity.
• Entrepreneurial ownership, bias for action, and ability to build initiatives from the ground up.
• Completed Bachelor’s degree.
