Senior Manager, Planning & Scheduling

Location: Pittsburgh Office in the Strip District; on-site a minimum of three days per week. Periodic travel to project sites, vendor facilities, and partner locations is required.

What you will do

• Establish and operate a centralized scheduling function, including its service model, processes, standards, tooling, and interfaces across the business.
• Build and maintain plan-of-record schedules and multi-year portfolio delivery plans aligned with capital availability, resource capacity, and utility timing.
• Develop concept and feasibility-stage schedules for sites, modeling entitlement, permitting, utility interconnection, and power energization paths.
• Manage integrated master schedules through design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operational turnover.
• Integrate contractor, vendor, engineering, utility, and long-lead equipment schedules while resolving package and interface conflicts.
• Measure progress, analyze schedule performance and risk, evaluate delays and changes, and report recovery recommendations to leadership and senior executives.

Requirements

• 10+ years of scheduling and project controls experience on large capital construction programs, with hands-on project delivery experience.
• Experience building or substantially rebuilding a scheduling function, including processes, standards, tooling, and data.
• Expert-level Primavera P6 experience, including enterprise/EPS configuration, multi-project structures, global change, and baseline management.
• Strong knowledge of CPM scheduling, earned value management, time impact analysis, and quantitative schedule risk analysis using Monte Carlo methods.
• Experience with Power BI, SQL, or equivalent tools for building and querying benchmarking databases.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field; data center, mission-critical, hyperscale, HPC, heavy industrial, or utility-scale experience is strongly preferred.

• Experience with Microsoft Project and Smartsheet.
• Professional certifications related to scheduling, project controls, or construction management.
• Owner, developer, or program management-side experience.
