What you will do
- Own integrated Level 1–4 schedules for major capital projects from FEL/FEED through engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, commissioning, and handover.
- Develop WBS and schedule architecture, establish baselines, maintain change control, and secure stakeholder approval.
- Integrate contractor, subcontractor, and vendor schedules while managing interfaces with operations, shutdowns, tie-ins, permitting, utilities, and logistics.
- Define progress measurement and earned value rules; produce critical path analysis, S-curves, milestone reports, manpower histograms, and look-ahead schedules.
- Deliver forecast completion dates, quantify schedule threats, and recommend recovery or mitigation actions.
- Lead the planning team, improve standards and procedures, and support contract, change, claims, audits, and project reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, quantity surveying, or a related technical discipline; equivalent technically grounded experience may be considered.
- 12+ years of planning or scheduling experience on EPC or EPCM capital projects, including 5+ years at lead or manager level on projects exceeding $500M.
- Experience owning a full-lifecycle schedule from FEED through commissioning and handover.
- Expert-level Primavera P6 experience in multi-project, resource-loaded, and cost-loaded environments.
- Working knowledge of earned value management, critical path method, contractual progress measurement, and multiple contractor schedules.
- Position location: Houston, Texas, United States.
Nice to have
- Experience in oil and gas, LNG, mining and minerals, power and renewables, pharmaceuticals, semiconductors, data centers, or water infrastructure.
- AACE PSP, CCP, PMI-SP, RICS, or equivalent credentials.
- Experience with Deltek Acumen, Primavera Risk Analysis, Safran Risk, Power BI, EcoSys, SAP PS, or comparable platforms.
- Knowledge of advanced work packaging, systems completion, 4D planning, FIDIC, NEC, LSTK, reimbursable contracts, and delay analysis protocols.
