Application Owner - Field & Risk (Insurance)

Location: Home United States; fully remote

Salary: $145,000–$155,000 per year

What you will do

• Own the day-to-day operations, health, support processes, integrations, documentation, and improvement roadmap for the Field & Risk Services application portfolio.
• Maintain and prioritize the operational backlog, translating business requirements, defects, and enhancement requests into user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate release planning, delivery schedules, implementation plans, risks, dependencies, and platform changes across business and technical stakeholders.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove delivery impediments, support estimation and capacity planning, and monitor delivery metrics.
• Partner with the Head of Product and engineering leads on strategic execution, platform modernization, migrations, transformation, automation, and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate communication among FRS leadership, product, development, operations, technology teams, and external vendors.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Application Owner, Platform Owner, Business Analyst, Delivery Lead, or in a similar role.
• 3+ years working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Experience managing software backlogs and coordinating development teams.
• Experience working with business stakeholders and technology delivery teams.
• Experience supporting enterprise applications through their full lifecycle.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Certified Scrum Master, Product Owner, or equivalent certification.
• Experience with SaaS, cloud-hosted, or enterprise business platforms.
• Experience with insurance, risk services, loss control, premium audit, or field operations platforms.
• Familiarity with application modernization and platform transformation initiatives.
