Infrastructure & Capital Projects – Senior Vice President – Data Centers, ANS (Data Centers)

Location: Nationwide, United States; remote for the majority of working hours with some in-person collaboration and travel to meet clients or oversee projects.

Accenture Infrastructure & Capital Projects develops and delivers infrastructure and capital projects, including data centers, grids, transit systems, and public infrastructure.

What you will do

• Contribute to annual budgets and strategic objectives for the data center business.
• Lead business development teams, identify new opportunities, and contribute to proposals, whitepapers, and thought leadership.
• Build senior client and industry relationships, monitor engagement delivery, assess contract and backlog risks, and execute mitigation strategies.
• Select, develop, and evaluate senior leaders while setting accountabilities, objectives, priorities, and compensation recommendations.
• Oversee one or more data center capital projects and programs from concept and initiation through completion, handover, upgrades, and retrofits.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, clients, and internal teams to meet project goals, budgets, timelines, and commissioning requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, project management, engineering, architecture, or equivalent experience.
• 15+ years of demonstrated knowledge of contracts, drawings, estimates, and specifications.
• At least 5 years of data center industry experience, including strong knowledge of MEP and commissioning disciplines.
• At least 3 years of experience with hyperscale data centers exceeding 30 MW.
• Experience leading large markets or business sectors and developing senior teams.
• Ability to plan over a three- to five-year horizon and achieve results through others.

Nice to have

• PE, CCM, PMP, CFE, COA, LEED, or a master’s degree.
• Strong written, verbal, and computer skills.
• Proficiency in reading contracts, plans, and specifications.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, or Primavera.
