What you will do
- Develop, configure, and validate intelligent Autodesk Inventor models for transmission and substation structures.
- Create configurable assemblies, reusable templates, parameter-driven design tools, and governed standard parts.
- Translate engineering calculations, design standards, customer requirements, and manufacturing needs into model parameters, rules, templates, and automation logic.
- Support iLogic, iProperties, engineering metadata, and model-based workflows in partnership with the Inventor Developer.
- Validate model outputs for engineering, detailing, customer, manufacturing, procurement, ERP/MES, and analytics requirements.
- Identify improvements that reduce repetitive modeling, detailing, BOM, and BOO creation while improving data quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a safety-related discipline is preferred.
- At least three years of industrial safety and industrial hygiene experience is required.
- Knowledge of state, federal, and local industrial health and safety regulations, including OSHA and PPE programs.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with at least 3–5 years of leadership experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook is required.
- Regular, reliable attendance and no documented disciplinary actions for at least 12 months are required for this internal transfer opportunity.
