Sr. Designer (Autodesk Inventor)

Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico, United States. U.S. citizenship is required, along with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

Salary: $63,600–$95,400 per year

What you will do

• Support the implementation, integration, administration, and improvement of Autodesk Vault for engineering and product data management.
• Maintain document lifecycles, revision control, workflows, permissions, configuration control, and engineering records.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, training, and best-practice guidance for Autodesk Vault and Autodesk Inventor users.
• Monitor and audit Vault data, workflows, and documentation for compliance with company standards, security requirements, and quality objectives.
• Create and revise engineering drawings, 3D models, assemblies, and technical documentation for manufacturing, fabrication, and production.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and configuration management teams on the release and distribution of controlled engineering data.

Requirements

• High school diploma and at least five years of experience using Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk Vault.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Vault, CAD systems, and engineering documentation tools.
• Knowledge of engineering drawing standards, document control, revision management, and configuration management.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

Nice to have

• Ten or more years of drafting, design, or related technical experience.
• Active Secret Security Clearance.
• Experience implementing, integrating, administering, or migrating Autodesk Vault in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Experience improving PDM workflows, document control processes, and configuration management practices.
