TL;DR
Manufacturing Specialist (CNC): Developing and executing CNC automation systems in advanced factories with an accent on machine setup, tooling, validation runs, and shop-floor operations. Focus on commissioning and calibrating machines, troubleshooting mechanical and software issues, testing automation features, and formalizing reliable production processes.

Location: On-site in Mesa, Arizona, United States. Relocation support may be provided in certain situations based on business need.

What you will do

  • Collaborate with Applications Engineers on machine setup, material preparation, tool and probe builds, and development and validation runs.
  • Execute tool life studies, tool evaluations, structured test programs, and tooling troubleshooting.
  • Support CNC Controls Engineers with ballbar analysis, probing validation, hardware recovery, machine commissioning, and calibration.
  • Operate machines for production and development, and assist with testing macros, automation features, and machine-agent capabilities.
  • Track development tooling and materials inventory and document procedures and technician training materials.
  • Triage operational issues, document troubleshooting, identify recurring problems, and help formalize reliable factory processes.

Requirements

  • Must work on-site in Mesa, Arizona, United States.
  • Must meet U.S. Government ITAR eligibility requirements, including U.S. citizenship, lawful permanent residence, protected-individual status, or eligibility to obtain the required authorizations.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a factory technician.
  • At least 6 months of experience operating CNC machines.
  • Working knowledge of CNC machining and tooling fundamentals.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills across mechanical and software systems, with strong organization and clear communication.
