Collibra Developer (Databricks)

Location: Remote - Washington, D.C.; must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain Public Trust.

Salary: $116,805–$164,214 per year.

What you will do

• Configure, customize, and enhance the Collibra Data Intelligence Platform, including DGC and Edge.
• Build and maintain communities, domains, asset types, metadata models, business glossaries, catalogs, and governance assets.
• Design and support BPMN-based Collibra workflows for governance and stewardship processes.
• Integrate Collibra with Databricks and other enterprise data sources to support metadata ingestion, cataloging, governance, and lineage.
• Develop automation, integrations, reports, dashboards, and monitoring using REST APIs, scripting, and integration frameworks.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and support testing, deployments, upgrades, security configuration, production operations, Agile ceremonies, and release activities.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a Public Trust position are required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience developing, configuring, and implementing Collibra solutions, including DGC, Edge, workflows, and BPMN automation.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, metadata management, data cataloging, business glossaries, lineage, stewardship, and SQL.
• Experience integrating Collibra with databases, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications using REST APIs and integration frameworks.
• Experience with Databricks or comparable cloud data platforms, Python or Java, AWS or Azure, production enterprise environments, and Agile/Scrum practices.

Nice to have

• Direct Collibra–Databricks integration experience, including Unity Catalog, metadata ingestion, cataloging, and lineage.
• Experience with Collibra Data Quality, MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, CI/CD tools, or federal and regulated environments.
• Knowledge of U.S. Department of Transportation or Federal Transit Administration systems and data environments.
• Current Public Trust with DOT/FTA or another federal agency.
