Revenue Accountant (SaaS)

Location: Palermo, Buenos Aires, Argentina; hybrid with 3 days per week onsite. Candidates based in the Buenos Aires vicinity will be prioritized.

What you will do

• Set up and review customer contracts, billing schedules, and revenue schedules according to revenue recognition policies and ASC 606.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly revenue journal entries, unbilled and deferred revenue reconciliations, and flux analyses.
• Prepare technical accounting memos and documentation for complex contracts.
• Partner with FP&A, Billing, Sales, Revenue Operations, and Deal Desk on non-standard arrangements and revenue guidance.
• Mentor offshore revenue analysts and improve consistency across the revenue function.
• Identify technology solutions for automating processes, strengthening internal controls, and supporting audit readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• At least 2 years of accounting experience in industry or public accounting, focused on SaaS and software revenue recognition.
• Understanding of ASC 606 in a SaaS business.
• Proficiency with NetSuite ARM, SuiteBilling, and Microsoft Office.
• Professional working proficiency in English, both oral and written.

Nice to have

• Certified Public Accountant qualification.
• Salesforce experience.
• Professional services billing and revenue recognition experience in a SaaS business.
• Experience implementing AI tools such as Claude or Google Gemini.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing products, pricing, and systems.
