Revenue Accountant (SaaS)

Location: Palermo, Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, Argentina; hybrid with 3 days per week onsite. Candidates based in the Buenos Aires vicinity will be prioritized.

Experience Management SaaS company providing a platform for managing customer, employee, patient, candidate, and resident experiences.

What you will do

• Set up and review customer contracts, billing schedules, and revenue schedules in accordance with revenue recognition policies and ASC 606.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly revenue journal entries, unbilled and deferred revenue reconciliations, and flux analyses.
• Prepare technical accounting memos and supporting documentation for complex contracts.
• Partner with FP&A, Billing, Sales, Revenue Operations, and Deal Desk on non-standard arrangements, providing revenue guidance and documenting conclusions.
• Mentor offshore revenue analysts and drive consistency across the revenue function.
• Improve and automate internal processes, support special projects, and maintain SOX controls, documentation standards, and audit readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• At least 2 years of accounting experience in industry and/or public accounting, with a focus on SaaS and software revenue recognition.
• Demonstrated understanding of ASC 606 or IFRS 15 in relation to a SaaS business.
• Professional working proficiency in English, both oral and written.

Nice to have

• Certified Public Accountant qualification.
• Proficiency in NetSuite ARM, SuiteBilling, and Microsoft Office.
• Salesforce experience.
• Professional Services billing and revenue recognition experience in a SaaS business.
• Experience implementing AI tools such as Claude or Google Gemini.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with comfort handling ambiguity and change.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work independently.
• End-to-end process orientation, analytical thinking, organizational skills, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail in complex accounting procedures and reconciliations.
