Team Lead, SEO + GEO

Location: Remote within the United States; candidates must be able to work continental US-based hours. The position may also be based in the Philadelphia headquarters office.

Salary: $95,000–$115,000 per year. Final compensation depends on skills and experience.

What you will do

• Lead, manage, coach, and develop a team of 6–8 people, including onboarding, performance management, hiring, and career development.
• Own a client portfolio worth $800K–$1MM+ and drive retention, upselling, cross-selling, and account expansion.
• Build trusted relationships with CMOs and C-suite stakeholders, connecting SEO and GEO strategy to revenue, pipeline, lifetime value, and long-term ROI.
• Advance Seer’s organic-search offering by testing SEO, GEO, AI-search tools, and repeatable workflows.
• Partner with Paid Media, Creative, and Client Engagement teams to deliver integrated growth recommendations.
• Share industry knowledge through client and digital-marketing thought leadership.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing and developing a team of approximately 6–8 people.
• Hands-on agency experience across SEO and GEO, with exposure to content strategy, enterprise SEO, PR, paid media, and/or analytics.
• Deep GEO experience with AI Overviews, LLM-powered discovery, and generative search interfaces, including testing and implementation of visibility strategies.
• Experience using AI to improve individual or team workflows and enthusiasm for continued innovation.
• Strong C-level client management, communication, conflict-resolution, and account-growth skills.
• Must be based in the United States and able to work continental US-based hours.
