What you will do

• Prepare general ledger accounts proofs and manage the monthly/yearly closing processes.
• Develop and maintain monthly and annual balance sheet reports.
• Reconcile data between the general ledger and various back-office systems.
• Contribute to strategic projects, including the implementation of new IT applications and finance system enhancements.
• Develop accounting-finance policies and support the accounting setup for new products.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors for tax and financial audits.

Requirements

• University degree in accounting and a Certified Accountant qualification.
• 8-10 years of accounting/finance experience within a financial institution.
• Up-to-date knowledge of IFRS accounting standards.
• Proficiency in MS Office and complex financial reporting systems.
• Fluent professional English (written and spoken).
• Must be based in Budapest, Hungary to support the hybrid work model.
