Accountant (Fintech)

Location: Remote in the European Region; hybrid workplace with fully remote flexibility from almost anywhere

What you will do

• Manage month-end and year-end closing, including accruals, account reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Review invoices, payment requests, and expense reports.
• Reconcile bank accounts, cryptocurrency wallets, merchant accounts, and intercompany balances.
• Maintain supporting documentation and ensure compliance with internal accounting policies.
• Support the implementation and optimization of accounting systems and automation tools.
• Assist with internal and external audits and collaborate with operations, legal, and product teams on financial processes and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of professional accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles; IFRS/GAAP knowledge is desirable.
• Experience with 1C and Excel or Google Sheets.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
