Senior DevOps Engineer I (AWS/Kubernetes)

Location: American Fork, Utah, United States. Hybrid initially, transitioning to a full in-person, in-office model. Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

What you will do

• Architect, scale, and optimize multi-region cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
• Manage and upgrade highly available Kubernetes clusters, including networking, workload performance, and security configurations.
• Build predictable deployment pipelines and mature GitOps practices.
• Operate AWS services, networking, identity and access management, and cloud cost optimization initiatives.
• Implement zero-trust access controls, secure secrets management, observability, monitoring, and alerting.
• Support connectivity and deployment workflows for the global IoT and edge fleet, while documenting systems and runbooks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of DevOps, platform, or cloud infrastructure engineering experience in high-availability production environments.
• Deep hands-on Kubernetes experience covering workloads, networking, RBAC, storage, and upgrades.
• Advanced Terraform and Terragrunt skills, including ownership and refactoring of complex infrastructure modules.
• Experience with declarative continuous delivery, GitOps tooling, and core AWS services including VPC, IAM, EKS, ALB/NLB, S3, and CloudWatch.
• Strong Linux administration, shell scripting, operating-system debugging, secrets management, technical documentation, and asynchronous collaboration skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to work from the American Fork headquarters under the stated hybrid-to-onsite schedule.

Nice to have

• Experience with ArgoCD, HashiCorp Vault, Teleport, Boundary, or BeyondCorp.
• IoT or edge fleet management, MQTT brokers, Datadog, Coralogix, AWS GovCloud, FedRAMP, NetFoundry, or OpenZiti experience.
