DevOps Engineer (AI/SaaS)

Location: On-site in New York, NY; candidates must currently be based in the greater New York City area.

Salary: $160,000–$200,000 USD annually.

What you will do

• Architect and build secure, scalable AWS infrastructure using Terraform and Terragrunt.
• Design and maintain production CI/CD pipelines and automate repeatable engineering workflows.
• Own production reliability through observability stacks, SLI/SLO definition, and incident response.
• Implement GitOps workflows and compliance-ready infrastructure for SOC 2 and GDPR.
• Optimize cloud costs while maintaining performance and reliability at scale.
• Create developer tooling and documentation, mentor engineers, and help shape infrastructure strategy.

Requirements

• 5+ years of end-to-end infrastructure ownership in production environments.
• Hands-on infrastructure experience within the last 2 years.
• Strong Kubernetes expertise; EKS experience is preferred.
• Proven experience building and managing AWS infrastructure for B2B SaaS products.
• Deep hands-on expertise with Terraform and Terragrunt, plus production CI/CD experience.
• Must currently be based in the greater New York City area; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with Amazon EKS.
• Background at VC-backed startups or mid-sized technology companies.
