What you will do

• Set and drive the technical vision and quarterly roadmap for infrastructure with measurable goals.
• Manage and evolve AWS and Kubernetes (EKS) infrastructure, including autoscaling with Karpenter and policy enforcement via Kyverno.
• Own Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK in TypeScript) and GitLab CI/CD templates.
• Build and maintain comprehensive observability using Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and OpenSearch.
• Implement zero-downtime PostgreSQL schema migrations and health-gated automated rollbacks.
• Own security engineering in a HIPAA environment, managing secrets hygiene and HashiCorp Vault as code.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps/infrastructure engineering with strong Linux fundamentals.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS (EC2, EKS, RDS, Lambda, S3) and production Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Terraform and AWS CDK (TypeScript).
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD, Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
• Practical knowledge of security engineering and HashiCorp Vault.
• Fluent Russian and English (B2) required.

Nice to have

• Experience in regulated environments (HIPAA, SOC 2).
• Configuration management experience with Ansible.
• Node.js and TypeScript application operations experience.
• Knowledge of GitOps tooling such as ArgoCD or Flux.
