Offshore Commissioning Technician (Wind Power)

Location: Gdansk, Pomorskie, Poland; work involves offshore wind turbine projects worldwide and challenging offshore conditions.

What you will do

• Install, terminate, splice, test, and commission high-voltage cables and associated equipment.
• Perform final energization of offshore wind turbines according to established procedures.
• Ensure commissioning work meets project specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements.
• Follow safe systems of work and execute high-voltage switching procedures after completing the required training and evaluation.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all completed activities.
• Train and mentor trainees and colleagues while collaborating with international teams.

Requirements

• Certified electrician qualification and completed apprenticeship or vocational training.
• Strong electrical engineering background, including cable termination, equipment testing, and commissioning.
• Knowledge of safe work systems and procedures.
• Fluent English communication skills are required.
• Ability to work at height and in adverse offshore weather conditions.
• Strong teamwork, communication, adaptability, safety leadership, and documentation skills.
