Supplier Quality Engineer (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Lead investigations and assessments of supplier non-conformances from initiation through effective resolution.
• Analyze quality trends, identify risks, and advise management on remedial actions.
• Represent Engineering in Material Review Board meetings through technical assessments, risk evaluations, disposition recommendations, and action closure.
• Monitor production-line non-conformances and coordinate activities with R&D, suppliers, manufacturing, operations, and purchasing.
• Drive supplier continuous improvement in product quality, first-pass yield, SPC, and 8D processes.
• Perform root cause analysis and ensure corrective actions are deployed to address supplier and manufacturing issues.

Requirements

• BSc in Electronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in relevant professional positions.
• Experience working with suppliers through development, engineering transitions, and sustained manufacturing processes.
• Experience in multidisciplinary engineering environments and strong technical capabilities across multiple disciplines.
• Excellent communication skills in Hebrew and English.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Nice to have

• Certified Quality Engineer education or certification.
• Lead Auditor certification.
• Experience with ISO 13485, IATF 16949, or AS9100.
• Familiarity with FAI and APQP requirements.
