Location: Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania; field-based work conducted on-site at customer locations

What you will do
- Start and commission new HVAC and environmental-control systems.
- Diagnose and repair equipment and systems at commercial customer locations.
- Apply knowledge of electronics, direct digital controls, airflow, refrigeration theory, and mechanical techniques.
- Coordinate with team leaders and customers on installation and repair requirements, materials, and on-site schedules.
- Maintain current knowledge of Trane products and direct digital control system installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair.
- Enforce safety standards, track company assets, and provide flexible service support including overtime and occasional overnight stays.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Typically 3–5 years of HVAC or controls experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and handheld devices such as smartphones or iPads.
- Valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations or preventable collisions during the previous three years.
- Ability to work on-site at customer locations in the Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania area.
- Safety-sensitive role; additional drug screening may be required.
Nice to have
- Technical school or formal HVAC training.
- Previous experience with direct digital control systems.
- EPA certification.
