Lead Associate - Product (UI) (React): Building and optimising performant, accessible user interfaces and reusable React components for Davies’ digital products with an accent on scalable front-end architecture, design-system consistency, and cloud-native integrations. Focus on integrating APIs and microservices, establishing automated testing and CI/CD practices, and mentoring engineers in a hybrid Agile delivery squad.

What you will do
- Design, build, and maintain reusable, scalable React components with TypeScript.
- Develop performant, responsive, accessible interfaces aligned with the design system.
- Integrate front-end applications with REST APIs, backend services, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
- Contribute to front-end architecture, including state management, routing, performance optimisation, and micro-frontends.
- Establish unit, integration, component, and end-to-end testing practices and support front-end CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, UX/UI designers, architects, backend engineers, and QA teams while mentoring junior developers.
Requirements
- Extensive production experience with React and strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Expert knowledge of component-based architecture, hooks, modern state management, and client-side routing.
- Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, responsive design, and WCAG accessibility standards.
- Experience integrating REST APIs and backend services, using modern build tools such as Webpack or Vite.
- Strong experience with automated front-end testing tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to mentor engineers and contribute to technical decision-making within Scrum or Kanban teams.
