Lead Software Engineer (React)

Location: Miami, Florida, United States; onsite office position

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and deploy web software applications.
• Collaborate with product owners, UX researchers, data teams, QA, project managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Architect integrations and scalable solutions while following architecture, design, implementation, and security standards.
• Write reusable, clear, testable code and implement unit, integration, functional, and performance testing.
• Diagnose and resolve critical performance issues, establish development practices, and prepare technical documentation.
• Manage and mentor software engineers, participate in code reviews, and promote collaborative development.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in computer science with 5+ years of professional experience, or a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, or an equivalent field with 7+ years of experience.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript with 7+ years of experience in client-side and server-side development.
• High proficiency in React with 5+ years of experience building performant UI components using modern hooks and design patterns.
• Proficiency in semantic HTML, modern CSS, CSS-in-JS, accessibility, SEO, responsive design, Next, TypeScript, and GraphQL.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, package managers, debugging, and troubleshooting complex issues.
• Demonstrated leadership in Agile environments, team management, complex solution architecture, communication, and mentoring.

Nice to have

• Experience with headless CMS, e-commerce, A/B testing, backend development, high-traffic websites, CDNs, cloud platforms, frontend third-party integrations, or data analytics.
