Bilingual Rehabilitation Consultant (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Provide confidential, objective third-party support to employees facing barriers to returning to work.
• Manage return-to-work initiatives and coordinate with employers, healthcare providers, rehabilitation professionals, unions, and other stakeholders.
• Build and maintain a network of service providers across the regions where the organization operates.
• Review, analyze, and approve intervention mandates assigned to external providers.
• Participate in meetings with providers, clients, brokers, and insured individuals.
• Contribute to quality measures, committees, system enhancements, procedure development, reporting, and national projects.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in medical or rehabilitation management or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as a rehabilitation consultant or clinical rehabilitation services coordinator for an insurer or other third-party payer.
• Bilingual English and French communication is required for daily collaboration across Canada.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of medical and contractual fields.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, planning, organizational, communication, interpersonal, conflict management, initiative, and autonomy skills.
