Sales and Service Banker (Fintech)

Location: Perth Amboy, New Jersey, United States; branch-based work with possible support for nearby branches

Salary: $34,500–$53,000 annual base pay

What you will do

• Serve as a trusted banking advisor and understand customers’ financial needs and goals.
• Provide tailored solutions across banking, lending, and investment products.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and other teller transactions while maintaining accurate cash drawer balances.
• Build and deepen customer relationships through account support, portfolio management, referrals, and cross-selling.
• Educate customers on digital banking platforms and self-service options.
• Support branch sales targets, operational tasks, audits, risk controls, and fraud prevention.

Requirements

• Legal authorization to work full-time in the United States without employer sponsorship is required.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least 12 months of experience selling products or services, or qualifying retail banking, financial services, consultative sales, or hirify.global experience.
• At least 6 months of customer service experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• At least 6 months of cash-handling experience.
• Customer relationship-building, communication, consultative sales, digital tools, computer proficiency, and basic math skills.
• Availability to work branch hours, including possible weekends and evenings.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience, training, military service, or education.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products.
• Established work history or equivalent background.
