TL;DR
Analog Design Engineer (IoT): Developing low-power mixed-signal SoCs and analog building blocks for Gecko MCU and Wireless MCU platforms with an accent on specification, architecture, circuit design, verification, layout, and laboratory measurement. Focus on designing advanced analog circuits, modeling MOS device effects, optimizing layout tradeoffs, and collaborating across analog, digital, software, and marketing teams.

Location: Oslo, Norway

Annual base pay: NOK 699,650–1,299,350, plus potential annual bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

  • Develop analog and mixed-signal components for low-power Gecko MCU and Wireless MCU platforms.
  • Take advanced analog design tasks through specification, architecture, implementation, verification, layout, and laboratory measurement.
  • Design and improve building blocks such as op-amps, power management circuits, ADCs, DACs, oscillators, memories, bandgap references, and PLLs.
  • Collaborate with analog, digital, software, hardware/tools, and marketing teams across Oslo, Austin, and Singapore.
  • Define and deliver key features for highly integrated IoT SoCs deployed in products worldwide.

Requirements

  • M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with a focus on analog circuit design.
  • Knowledge of MOS transistors and analog/digital circuit design.
  • Understanding of MOS device modeling, including noise, excess thermal noise, DIBL, GIDL, and NBTI.
  • Experience with circuit verification, simulation, layout tradeoffs, and laboratory measurements.
  • Good written and oral English communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to varied audiences.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, creative, and collaborative skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Cadence design tools, Linux, Matlab, and Python.
