AI Engineer (LLM/Agents): Building full-stack AI capabilities for autonomous commerce, from retrieval and model context through agent orchestration and generative user interfaces with an accent on production LLM applications, MCP integrations, and evaluation systems. Focus on designing secure tool-using agents, streaming accessible UI, grounding models in business data, and taking AI features from prototype to measured, guard-railed production.
Location: Hybrid role based in Berlin, Munich, London, or Valencia

What you will do
- Build agent loops and orchestration with tool use, structured outputs, business-rule enforcement, and graceful failure handling.
- Develop secure MCP integrations allowing agents to call backend systems and business APIs.
- Render model output into live, streamed, accessible interfaces using generative UI protocols.
- Ground models with retrieval, embeddings, real data, and feedback loops.
- Build evaluation systems that demonstrate measurable model improvement.
- Take AI capabilities from notebook prototypes to guarded, measured production features and operate them end-to-end.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience shipping production software and 2+ years building LLM applications used by real users.
- Experience shipping and operating full-stack applications across frontend, backend, deployment, and production operations.
- Hands-on experience with generative or agent-driven UI protocols such as A2UI, AG-UI, or MCP-UI.
- Experience with prompt and context engineering, agents, tool use, structured outputs, evaluations, MCP, Python, TypeScript, Node, and React.
- Comfort with asynchronous systems, streaming, observability, retrieval, embeddings, and SQL.
Nice to have
- Experience with fine-tuning or distillation.
- Experience with e-commerce or marketplace systems.
- Track record of taking products or capabilities from 0 to 1.
