Systems Engineer (SRE) (AWS/Kubernetes)

What you will do

• Operate and maintain a large, growing, geographically distributed production environment.
• Manage growing clusters built primarily on non-relational data systems.
• Run Kubernetes across on-premises infrastructure and AWS public cloud.
• Maintain CI/CD infrastructure enabling continuous delivery for development teams.
• Automate and code systems while applying software engineering best practices to systems engineering.
• Support low-latency architectures processing thousands of events per second with zero tolerance for downtime.

Requirements

• Strong Linux background and operational skills.
• Knowledge of or interest in Kubernetes.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL technologies.
• Good programming and scripting skills, especially with Python or Golang.
• Understanding of networking technologies.
• Experience working in a modern software development organization.
