Platform Engineer (AWS)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain platform services, automation solutions, and infrastructure components.
• Design Infrastructure as Code solutions with Terraform and manage AWS infrastructure, IAM policies, roles, and permissions.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
• Integrate source control, CI/CD, security, artifact management, and other developer tools into platform workflows.
• Develop Python-based automation, API-driven integrations, onboarding workflows, and self-service capabilities.
• Improve platform reliability, security, scalability, troubleshooting, performance, and developer adoption.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering or DevOps roles.
• Production experience with Python and hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience designing and managing AWS infrastructure, including IAM policies, roles, and permissions.
• Experience creating and maintaining GitHub Actions workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience integrating developer tools, working with APIs, and building automation-driven integrations.
• Knowledge of platform engineering principles, developer experience practices, software delivery lifecycles, and DevOps methodologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with Internal Developer Portals, preferably Port.io, and software or service catalog management.
• Knowledge of golden path implementation strategies and developer self-service solutions.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle security and compliance practices.
• Experience with agent-based platforms, tool governance, integration ecosystems, and cloud-native platform architecture.
