Site Reliability Engineer (Cloud Infrastructure)

Base salary: £62,400–£93,600 per year

What you will do

• Build, deploy, maintain, and scale platform infrastructure and new platform components.
• Develop automation for infrastructure and operational tasks to reduce manual effort.
• Support system health and stability through on-call rotations and incident management.
• Maintain infrastructure, improve reliability, and support audits and compliance activities.
• Contribute to technical architecture design and infrastructure decisions.
• Collaborate with software engineers and data scientists on platform capabilities.

Requirements

• Experience with at least one programming language, such as Python, Ruby, or Golang.
• Experience with infrastructure as code, cloud computing using AWS or GCP, and containerized applications.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or ArgoCD.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana or Prometheus.
• Experience with relational databases and other datastores, including high availability and performance optimization.
• Fluent English, strong teamwork and communication skills, and awareness of DevOps and Agile principles.

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform automation tools such as Terragrunt or Atlantis.
• Experience with Kubernetes and GKE.
