Solution Architect (Fintech)

What you will do

• Architect and document end-to-end solutions for investment, portfolio, operational, and reporting systems.
• Translate business requirements into architecture designs, roadmaps, and implementation artefacts.
• Define APIs, integration patterns, and data models across front-, middle-, and back-office systems.
• Establish and enforce requirements for security, resilience, observability, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead architecture governance, design reviews, vendor due diligence, proofs of concept, and procurement support.
• Mentor engineering teams on API design, data management, and CI/CD best practices.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience as a Solution Architect or Senior Technical Architect.
• Experience integrating front-office, back-office, and reporting systems.
• Strong expertise in cloud-native architectures, API-first design, and middleware solutions.
• Understanding of security controls, resilience engineering, and regulatory requirements for financial systems.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, including presenting technical strategies to executive stakeholders.
• Experience with vendor selection, proofs of concept, and technical due diligence; a Computer Science or Engineering degree, or equivalent professional experience.
