Requirements Engineer - Banking

Location: Remote from Bucharest, Romania

What you will do

• Translate regulatory policy changes in financial services into business requirements and functional specifications.
• Create and execute roadmaps for solution development and implementation, including timelines, milestones, and status updates.
• Coordinate with project management, software engineering, vendors, and business stakeholders throughout solution delivery and maintenance.
• Document requirements, processes, and controls in Confluence and Jira.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog as a Business Analyst and support SIT/UAT and pre-go-live change activities.
• Take ownership of production issues and coordinate their resolution through to completion.

Requirements

• Strong financial services and banking domain knowledge.
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking, with the ability to translate complex topics into clear requirements and solutions.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role, with the ability to work autonomously and take initiative.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including interaction with senior management in international environments.
• Ownership mindset, delivery focus, and the ability to work under pressure and drive topics into production.
• Practical knowledge of Agile methodologies, Excel, and PowerPoint.
