Senior Manager Business Finance (Travel Tech)

Location: Barcelona, Spain; hybrid work with work from home up to 2 days per week depending on team needs.

What you will do

• Act as a trusted finance partner to the BU CFO and business unit leaders, supporting financially sound planning and decision-making.
• Provide executive decision support on costs, investments, productivity economics, performance gaps, and risk mitigation across the technology portfolio.
• Lead budgeting pressure-testing and prepare ROI-focused business cases for investments, product initiatives, internal funding, and M&A.
• Coach decision makers in financial acumen, data literacy, value-driver analysis, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis.
• Partner with Data and Analytics, FP&A, BI, and technology teams to design actionable reports, dashboards, and digital decision-support tools.
• Drive adoption of decision-support tools, define success metrics, monitor utilization and quality, and track actual ROI against projected outcomes.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in financial analysis, controlling, or finance business partnering, preferably in a multinational, high-technology environment.
• Extensive expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, P&L, balance sheets, KPI driver maps, and reporting methodologies.
• Experience building relationships with senior management and business unit leaders, managing people, and working in international, multi-matrix organizations.
• Experience creating financial decision-support tools and defining measurable success criteria and performance metrics.
• Conversational fluency with GenAI and Copilot, including prompt construction, validation of AI outputs, and judgment regarding human oversight.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; professional accreditation such as CIMA, ACCA, CPA, or CFA is preferred.

• Experience with change management and adoption of new tools and processes.
• Knowledge of travel technology markets and relevant management accounting and accounting standards.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, Onstream, or Fabric.
