Business Oversight Analysis & Control Analyst

Location: Boadilla del Monte, Spain; hybrid work with some days remote and some days onsite

What you will do

• Support the monthly financial close by consolidating financial information and ensuring accurate, consistent, and timely business results.
• Prepare and coordinate inter-business reporting and financial adjustments across geographies, business lines, and financial products.
• Produce financial and management reports and validate submitted information with business teams.
• Perform reconciliations and control checks, identify discrepancies, and coordinate their resolution.
• Prepare offshore financial information, including commissions, business results, and supporting reconciliations.
• Collaborate with international teams and contribute to automating and simplifying reporting processes.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in control and/or results oversight functions, including estimates.
• University degree in Banking, Finance, Programming, Engineering, or a related field.
• Spanish required.
• High-level English required.
• Solid knowledge of financial and management accounting, including accounting reconciliations.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience in financial reporting and reconciling accounting and management data.
• Rigor, attention to detail, commitment to data quality, teamwork, collaboration with cross-functional and international teams, proactivity, analytical skills, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Nice to have

• Experience in Corporate & Investment Banking.
• Master's degree in a related field.
• Knowledge of Corporate & Investment Banking markets and financial products.
• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, data analysis, and reporting automation tools such as Power BI, VBA, Python, or SQL.
• Additional languages.
